ABOUT THIS TRAINING
Change is constant and more rapid than ever before. Conflict follows in its footprints. It is the natural consequence of being part of a living and dynamic system. Conflict can drain individual and organizational energy and takes it away from productive work. Within the Genuine Contact™ Program we work with conflict from the perspective that underneath all diversity, humans have some things in common, some universal needs and understandings.
In the Cross Cultural Conflict Resolution workshop, the focus is on the personal preparation of the facilitator, as being essential. Even if you will never work with formal conflict resolution, this workshop provides ways to investigate our personal relationship with conflict, your level of self acceptance and which climate we can create when a climate of conflict inevitably arises.
The workshop is well suited to people working with groups and organizations to raise self awareness and knowledge in order to improve the navigation of conflicts and prevention of its negative, energy draining effects.
WHO SHOULD TAKE THIS TRAINING
This training is for anyone who works to assist organizations to access their full power, such as facilitators, managers and (team) leaders as well as organizational development consultants.
It can be especially useful to you if you work in settings with high level's of change and high levels of both open and hidden conflict.
This training will also be useful to you should you want to develop your ability to navigate with conflict, either as a consultant, or as an organizational or team leader.
ABOUT THE TRAINERS
Doris Gottlieb (The Netherlands), Thomas Herrmann (Sweden), and Anna Caroline Türk (Germany) have joined forces with the commitment to make the full series of Genuine Contact™ program workshops available in English in Europe. They are highly dedicated to this approach and invest much of their energy in the development of the Genuine Contact Program and have worked closely with Birgitt and Ward Williams, founders of the Genuine Contact Program, for almost two decades.
They have developed these trainings together in order to integrate their specific expertise, strengths, and practical insights to provide you with a rich and varied learning experience. At each workshop, they will work either individually, in a pair, or as a team of three depending upon group size and availability.
As consultants, they have assisted organizations such as Volvo, Etsy, World Wildlife Fund, Soundcloud, City of Gothenburg, Stena Line and the Karolinska Institute, Emancipator, Sounds of Change, and Rotterdam School of Management - Erasmus University, in learning and applying the Genuine Contact approach to increase organizational success.
We have 15 years of experience working with highly participative online trainings and workshops. We ensure a lot of variation to keep the energy high throughout the training days. We design for different ways of working together, and we ensure time for being off-line during the days.
